// The Digital Detox Company
Your screen is engineered by PhDs to keep you hooked. We built the exit.
// The Math You've Been Avoiding
// How It Works
We place secure Digital Detox Stations at high-footfall locations — airports, metro stations, malls, and corporate campuses. Like a Coca‑Cola machine, but for getting your hours back.
Walk up to a Digital Detox Station near you — placed at airports, metro exits, malls, and corporate lobbies across India's major cities.
🗺️ High-footfall locationsSlide your phone into the secure biometric vault. Set a PIN. Your device is safely locked and insured for the duration — you can't impulsively retrieve it.
🔒 Insured & securePick 2, 7, or 14 days. The station prints your Detox Pass — a physical card with your challenge start date, duration, and aftercare QR code.
02 · 07 · 14 DaysJoin a residential camp, home programme, or corporate retreat. Nature, journaling, real skills, real conversations. No feed. No reels. Just reality.
🌿 Guided & structuredReturn to the station. Enter your PIN. Collect your phone and your Detox Certificate. You've earned 1 lakh more hours back. Now keep them.

// At Scale
Like ATMs in the 90s, or Coca-Cola vending machines in the 2000s — the Digital Detox Station network grows one high-footfall location at a time. Every station is a billboard, a product, and a revenue node.
// Choose Your Challenge
A 48-hour offline experiment. Lock your phone, step out of the feed, and discover what your brain does when it isn't being harvested.
One week is the scientific threshold where the dopamine loop actually begins to break. This is where real change starts to stick.
Two weeks off the grid. The complete recalibration. Come out with 1 lakh more effective hours and a plan to keep them.
// What You'll Actually Do
Not boredom. Not withdrawal. We replace the feed with what it's been substituting for years.
Forest walks, open air, no screens. Let your nervous system find its actual pace again.
Process what you've been numbing for months. Reconnect to your internal voice.
Group circles without phones. Practise the lost art of actually listening.
Cooking, pottery, art, music. Create something instead of consuming someone else's life.
Yoga, breathwork, cold exposure. Rebuild the mind-body link screen time severs.
One book. Full attention. No notifications. Your brain will surprise you.
No blue light after dusk. Natural wake. Most people report their best sleep in years by day 3.
What would you do with 1 lakh more hours? We help you figure out the answer.
"Vipassana for the modern world — at a scale that actually moves the needle on how humanity uses its one life."
// Take the Challenge
Choose your detox window. We'll send you everything you need — including what to do instead of scrolling.
No app required · No algorithm · Just reality
3.8 billion people spend 7–12 hours/day on devices. No regulated, structured, scalable intervention exists. The Digital Detox Company is building one — starting with a kiosk network, residential camps, and a government partnership model.
// 01 — The Problem
Every scroll, like, and notification is a precision-engineered dopamine trigger. Teams of PhD neuroscientists and ML engineers built these systems to maximise time-on-device at any biological cost. Big Tech will never voluntarily limit their feeds — it's existentially against their business model.
Variable reward loops activate the same pathways as gambling. Your nucleus accumbens is their retention KPI. You are not the user — you are the product.
Studies show direct correlation between device hours and depressive symptoms. A self-reinforcing spiral engineered to be endless — and profitable.
Declining birth rates, collapsing attention spans, population collapse partly attributed to internet usage as substitute for real human connection (Nikhil Kamath, WTF Podcast).
Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, Jio Dive. Web 3.0 is immersive. Device usage set to increase 1.5–2× this decade. Regulatory window is narrow and closing.
// 02 — Why Now
Australia passed the toughest digital age-restriction on the planet. Governments globally are now following. Regulations are coming — with or without platform consent.
IT&BT Minister Priyank Kharge announced state-wide Digital Detox Centres with trained counsellors. Implementation partners with real curriculum urgently needed — this is our direct entry point.
A yogurt brand ran a viral detox challenge with a ₹8.3L prize. Consumer demand for structured digital detox is real, proven, and massively underserved.
MS Dhoni doesn't own a smartphone. Aamir Khan left social media. Ranbir Kapoor never joined. Being offline is becoming a status signal, not a sacrifice. The cultural tide has turned.
When Musk capped X's newsfeed, it proved platforms can be limited. It also proved they will never do it voluntarily for long. External intervention is the only path.
"If I'm hooked on my phone for 10 hours/day, 8 of which are non-productive — I lose 1,29,600 hours over 45 years. But I can add 1 lakh more hours of real life just by limiting phone usage. That's completely under my control."
Only 97,600 hours are truly yours after sleep and chores. Screens take 1,29,600 of them. But 1 lakh hours are reclaimable — right now.
// 03 — The Solution
A Coca-Cola-like station network deployed at high-footfall locations across India. Each station is a device vault, a brand touchpoint, and a revenue node — connected to residential camps, corporate retreats, D2C kits, and government programmes.
Weekend intervention. Phone locked. Guided offline activities. Re-entry plan. Entry-level, high-volume, gateway to deeper programmes.
Full digital blackout, group therapy, journaling, skill workshops, real conversation practices, habit rebuild plan. The scientific threshold for behaviour change.
Complete recalibration. 1:1 coaching, purpose workshops, 90-day aftercare community. Premium tier, highest lifetime value per customer.
// 04 — Customer Personas
Achiever by day, doom-scroller by night. Has tried Screen Time three times. Failed all three. Needs a hard system override — not another app.
Comparing real life to curated Instagram realities. Procrastinating via Reels. Desperate for focus and self-worth not measured in likes.
Watching their child disappear into a screen. Needs a structured, supervised programme that removes the device safely — and actually works.
Managing teams with measurable focus deficits. Needs ROI-linked outcomes on attention, productivity, and retention. More than a step-count challenge.
// 05 — Business Model
Revenue per deposit (₹500–2,000), upsell to camps and kits. Station placement fees from airports, malls, corporate campuses.
₹15K–₹60K/person residential programmes at partner retreat locations. 2, 7, 14-day formats. High-margin flagship product.
Journal, activity cards, device lockbox, companion guide. ₹999–₹2,999. Wide distribution: Zepto, Amazon, gifting platforms.
Custom digital detox retreats for companies. Packages for 20–500 employees. Annual repeat contracts. Measurable productivity outcomes.
Implementation partner for Karnataka-model Digital Detox Centres. White-label curriculum, counsellor training, programme management.
The 14-Day Digital Detox Challenge — viral, shareable, sponsorship-ready. Growing community of offline-first people and the brand they trust.
// 06 — Competition & Climate
Karnataka, Delhi, Maharashtra — implementation partner for Digital Detox Centres and policy curriculum.
Enterprise wellness budgets growing. Digital burnout is a documented, measurable productivity drain.
Existing infrastructure + our curriculum = rapid deployment without capex. Mutual-benefit model.
Rising demand for structured digital wellness programming. Near-zero competition at this layer in India.
Track addiction. Don't treat it. Built by the companies that profit from your usage. Structurally incapable of being the solution.
Don't address digital addiction specifically or scientifically. No structured protocol. No measurable outcomes.
Treating symptoms. We treat the neurological root: dopamine dysregulation via structured behavioural intervention.
BSE/NSE defined opening and closing hours improve wellbeing and relationships. Social media needs the same model. We advocate for it.
// 07 — Team
Ran the hours math. Got to 97,600 effective hours. Decided enough was enough. Building at the scale the problem demands.
Behavioural science background. Designed the 2/7/14-day protocols from first principles. Obsessed with turning offline time into the most valuable hours a person will spend.
Built distribution for wellness brands across India. Knows how to get detox programming into schools, corporates, and government channels.
Builds systems designed to put themselves out of your hands. The only tech we build is the kind that helps you need less of it.
Behavioural psychologists, retreat operators, school counsellors, government affairs professionals, and early-stage investors who understand that the most valuable thing you can do with technology right now is use less of it. Get in touch →
// 08 — Honest Challenges
Getting people to give up their phones — even for 2 days — requires the right trigger moment. Finding and engineering that moment at scale is our primary product challenge.
Residential programmes need spaces. Kiosks need locations, installation, and maintenance. Partnering with existing retreat centres and malls is the lean path — but standardising quality takes time.
Demonstrating measurable, durable behaviour change is what unlocks corporates, governments, and serious investors. Building that measurement framework is Priority 1 in Phase 1.
The alternative is doing nothing — which is free and easy. Overcoming inertia is a marketing problem, not a product problem. The mission-driven positioning is our strongest asset.
The Karnataka initiative is a signal, not yet a contract. Government timelines are slow. We build the commercial business while the regulatory market matures around us.
Each station has hardware, placement, and maintenance costs. The model works at scale — but the path to breakeven per unit needs careful capital deployment in Phase 1.
// 09 — Steps Forward
Partner with one existing retreat centre. Run a 7-day programme for 15–20 people. Gather outcome data, testimonials, and media. Prove the model before scaling it.
T3 Delhi, Kempegowda Bengaluru, and 3 premium malls. Validate station hardware, vault security, and deposit-to-enrolment conversion. Establish unit economics.
Engage Priyank Kharge's office directly as the curriculum and implementation partner for the state's Digital Detox Centres. Highest-leverage door to open.
A free, shareable version — modelled on siggi's US success. Social-media-spread irony intended. Build the waitlist and brand community before the product is at full scale.
Journal, activity deck, device lockbox, companion guide. ₹999–₹1,999. List on Zepto, Amazon, and gifting platforms. Make the brand tangible before camps are at scale.
₹2–5Cr to fund kiosk hardware, retreat partnerships, team, and marketing. Targeting India-focused wellness and consumer investors who care about the mission — not just the multiple.
